Versatile in desk unit fitting flush to the worktop allowing full use of the workspace. Particularly suitable for meeting tables and other locations where space or uncluttered appearance is important.

Standard finish anodised aluminium with black or silver grey plastic mouldings. Also available with a variety of specialist finishes including chrome, gold and brass with plastic fascias.

The Prism is designed to operate in the closed position with equipment plugged in. Capable of being closed with most standard types of transformer plugs connected. When in the open position it can be accessed from both sides making the Prism particularly suitable for the centre of meeting and boardroom furniture.

Earth bonding slots along length of the unit allow the attachment of earth bonding lead with standard 3mm ring terminal. Earth bonding kit is sent as standard with every Prism.

Soft Wiring (power)
Power hardwired to Wieland ST/GST connector allows starter cables to be changed to suit requirements, especially during moves and changes (CHURN)

Security:
ANTI-FLEX system: Unique full length locking system guarantees unit integrity regardless of length

100% testing - continuity, polarity, insulation & earth

Soft Wired Data
As well as soft-wired power, PRISM can accommodate soft wired data. Using our inline couplers, data cables can be changed “on-site” to accommodate changes in length often associated with churn - Angled data fascias allow data cabling to pass straight through PRISM, ensuring the integrity of cables which have a minimum bend radius (CAT5e, CAT6, etc) (see below)

PRISM can also be fitted with room control keypads which, when used in conjunction with our in-line room controllers, allow the user to control various functions around the room (eg: blinds, shutters, projection screen and lighting) directly from the PRISM

Integration with industry standard VGA switchers to allow intelligent control of AV facilities by multiple delegates

General Dimensions:

Office Electrics PRISM units may be simply fitted into most worksurfaces.
Cutout dimensions are shown below for the standard sizes of PRISM units.
Cut out the aperture in the furniture, then use the ratchet clips provided to fix the PRISM in place from below.
PRISM units may also be fastened in place using the screw holes provided in the end frame mouldings if the ratchet clips cannot be utilised.
If these fixing methods are not suitable for the application then please call or email for alternative solutions. For non-standard size PRISMs please contact Office Electrics technical team for suitable cutout dimensions.
Of course the PRISM may also be mounted in a wall, screen or other types of furniture such as arm chairs and cabinets
